11-4-08 Unloaded to determine the condition. Basically all there less pipes seat and rear shocks. I put shocks on it before off loading it because it was sitting on the frame. Installed the rear fender and tomb stone light. Cut out alot of added wiring in the harness. Installed the tank. Checked all the fluids and drrained motor oil. Determined that the oil lines need to be replaced. They wernt leaking but they are brittle as hell. Found out it has a single fire ignition and a S U carb. Narrow glide was converted to wide glide. Right front brake line is leaking. Tires are good. 5 speed seems to shift well. Clutch feels good. Need shorter shocks. Rear brake light switch dosnt work. Frnt brake light switch works. All lights work. Speedo cable's broke. Front fender sucks. But all in all i think its going to be a good bike, lets see how it runs in a few days. Need to find some pipes.

11-9-08 Got new oil lines and rear brake light switch installed. Built a set of two into one pipes. Started it and seems to run ok  but sucking a little air in the intake rubbers. Rode it and put a couple gallons in it. The front brakes work about as well to be expected from a small disk set up. Rear brake needs to be bleed but grabs a little. Throttle responce was decent, probably get better after i replace the intake seals. Fork seals are shoot. Rode striaght. Carb needs a rebuild but i'll probally replace it. Borrowing a seat for now so im looking for a stock seat if any one has one.

11-26-08... In the last week or so I've pulled the front forks off and need to get new tubes. Tried to put on a Narrow glide tree set but the lock tab on standard Fx tress will not fit w/ the FXR frame. Might cut the tabs and put the Narrow glide on it anyway. If I can find a h-light bucket for the visor type mount. Going to put stock frnt and rear fenders on it. Going to track down the parts this weekend. And I stoll the 2 into 1 exhaust for the 77 FXS. So I need to find or build anothe set of exhausts.

12-16-08... Pretty much done. Still going over the small things. Looking into a different fender and seat. Finished building the exhaust just need to build some heat shields or wrap the headpipe.

12-19-08... Played with fenders and seat mock ups. need to figure out a color to paint it (Black or flat black / damn, to many choices)

1-20-09... Almost done and ready for sale. Listed on Craigs list locally to start people looking. Solo seat is done. Doing a spray can paint so its all one color. Waiting on a side cover. Did get a narrow glide back on the frnt and need to replace the seals in the forks and the tranny main seal too. Asking $6500.

1-24-09... Got paint done. Rear fender installed. Waiting on fork seal for frnt end. Waiting on sprocket shaft spacer for primary. Repalced all seals, nut and screws at rear drive sprocket. Seat is covered and on. Almost ready to sell. 

2-9-09....FUCK! 5TH GEAR HAS CRACKS IN THE SPROKET SPLINES......

2-16-09... STRIPPED THE BITCH TO THE FRAME AND START FROM SCRATCH. STRIPPING THE FRAME FOR REPAINT. NEED A SWINGARM PIVOT SHAFT AND PERIOD CORRECT TRIPLE TREES.
